Matthew Zienty is the Chief Compliance Officer at Cardinal Point where he oversees the compliance departments for our U.S. and Canadian based firms. Matt has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years serving both institutional and retail investors. He started his career on the institutional trading desk at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown in Baltimore working with some of the largest money managers in the world. Matt continued his career with AIG Financial Advisors as a Regional Manager responsible for the Supervision of over 45 offices in approximately 20 states. He left AIG Financial Advisors to work for their largest client and assume the role of Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer where he was responsible for the development and implementation of a robust and comprehensive compliance and risk management program. Matt was selected by AIG Financial Advisors executive leadership team to serve on the AIG Financial Advisors Management Advisory Committee and Subcommittee for Compliance, a role he performed for 2 years. Prior to joining Cardinal Point, Matt was the Chief Compliance Officer for Keats, Connelly and Associates LLC and KeatsConnelly ULC. Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and currently holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) designation (U.S.), Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Exam and New Entrants Exam (Canada). Matt has also held the Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 34, 53, 63 & 66 licenses.
