Eric Gibouleau is the Senior Director of Active Strategies and a Portfolio Manager at Cardinal Point. Eric joined Dorchester Wealth Management – a predecessor of Cardinal Point – as a Portfolio Manager in 2009. Eric became a Partner in 2015 and assumed his current role as Senior Director of Active Strategies in 2025 when Dorchester and Cardinal Point merged.
In his role, Eric drives the investment process for both Fixed Income and Equity strategies. He is also responsible for managing multiple key client relationships.
Eric began his career as an equity and options trader at National Bank Financial. In 2002, he joined Magna Vista Capital Management, transitioning from an analytical role to Portfolio Manager and became a key contributor to the firm’s investment process.
Eric holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McGill University in 2001.
