
Robert Craig earned his original Chartered Accountant designation at Peat Marwick & Co. (now KPMG) in 1967 before joining the Montreal firm, Investment Secretariat Ltd. as a Portfolio Manager responsible for the mutual fund Dominion Equity Investments. In 1979, when Investment Secretariat was absorbed by Hodgson, Roberton, Laing & Co.—a predecessor of Dorchester Wealth Management — Robert continued to build a distinguished career. Over three decades as a Partner, Robert made solid contributions to the firm’s evolution until his resignation from the Dorchester Partnership on December 31, 2011. He remained a Portfolio Manager for years concentrating on U.S. large cap equity research prior to transitioning partially towards retirement. In March 2025, Dorchester was acquired by Cardinal Point, marking a new chapter in his enduring legacy.
