Mary Daley has worked in the financial services industry since 1994 and joined Cardinal Point in 2018, to provide disciplined, long-term investment management, cross border and wealth planning strategies that enable affluent individuals to focus on their families, careers and hobbies.
Before Cardinal Point, she spent 12 years with Investors Group Securities Inc. as a Wealth Planning Specialist. In this role, she worked with Investors Group consultants and clients to ensure that financial plans properly incorporated investments in stocks, bonds, and ETFs in addition to mutual funds managed by external fund managers.
Mary also worked in progressive roles at Assante Capital Management Ltd. for more than a decade, with a focus on high net worth ($1 million +) clients and managed portfolio programs. She worked directly with clients in a full service practice, developed financial plans, organized marketing initiatives, and supervised the administrative team supporting the practice.
She holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo. Mary has obtained the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) as well as the Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designations.
